Mauldin City Council gave final approval to its 2022-23 fiscal year budget on June 20.
The more than $42 million budget includes:
A rezoning request for around 8.1 acres located at 711 and 713 N. Main St.
The applicant, Deep River South Development, plans to develop a townhome-style rental community consisting of more than 90 units.
An amendment to the city’s alcohol policy to remove a $1 charge for wristbands to purchase beer and wine at public events.
The updated policy, which goes into effect on July 1, also allows attendees ages 21 and up at city-approved events to purchase alcohol directly from authorized vendors.
An ordinance to establish a $73 sewer pump station fee per household for additional Indigo Pointe development parcels and the Pine Forest neighborhood.
