LILLIANA VAZQUEZ: Hey, guys, I'm style expert Lilliana Vazquez. And I'm so excited to share some products that I am completely obsessed with right now for "New in the Queue."
I am a new mom to 11-week-old Santiago Merrick McGrath. My one getaway and my me time is all about a mani. And I have been obsessing with this new nail polish company. It is called J. Hanna. This color is called Ghost Ranch. I have it on my fingers right now. This is like the color for fall. I'm a total neutral girl. I usually only put nude on my hands, but I feel like for fall, I do want to add a little bit more depth on my nails. So these J. Hanna polishes are so gorgeous. As a mom, I do not have time to do my nails once a week. It is to me, one of the most sophisticated collections of colors out there right now, but I also love it because it last.
As a new mom, I have bought so many different products, but there's a few that always stand out. And one that is really high on my list are these beautiful bibs. They look like little bandannas around his neck, which is so, so cute. But I also love them because they come in really cool prints. I'm more into kind of neutrals and more adult type prints for my baby. I feel like, it fits in with like the vibe of how I dress, also the vibe of my house. They are so, so soft. You see on the back, they're like this really sweet fuzzy fabric. So when, it's on his little chin and on his chest, it's super soft. But they're also really absorbent which is important.
I am breastfeeding, it has been a very complicated journey to say this. Something that, I've added to my supplement list is this from Legendary Milk. It's called Sunflower Lecithin. It really just helps regulate the thickness of the milk so that it flows nicely, you don't ever have plug ducts. As a new mom, I'm always looking for things that just make it easier so that I can continue to breastfeed Santiago. And all of the supplements from Legendary Milk have been incredible.
I am a makeup girl. And I am just finding my way back to doing my makeup at home. I really wanted to try something really cool for fall. And luckily for me, MAC just released their brand new collaboration with Rosalia. This is her eyeshadow palette. I love that fact that she mixed really cool mattes with also kind of really fun glittery pigments. Because I can use the matte all over the lid and then just hit right in the center with a little sparkly rose gold.
I don't have time to be dealing with like finding the perfect lipstick. I just want to reach into my bag, or reach into my purse, and know that the lipstick I'm going to pull out is going to look good. You guys, I've been waiting my entire life for this shade of news. So again this is part of the MAC Rosalia collaboration. And this is called Nuez Moscada. It is the perfect warm, nutty, neutral, so it gives a little bit of pigment, not too much. And I think it's just super complimentary on all skin tones.
I am half Mexican and half Puerto Rican. And I love Dia de los Muertos. It is one of my favorite celebrations because it incorporates everything that I love about my culture, music, food, family, and of course, tradition. And right now, I am obsessing over Mexican hot chocolate. I use Abuelita chocolate, and then to give it extra flavor, I use a little pure vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and because I love spice, I do add just a tiny hint of Chipotle chili pepper. Now don't be scared of this, I love a spicy Mexican hot chocolate. To me, it reminds me of growing up. It reminds me of my grandmother's kitchen.
